Renishaw Retrofit Package
The Renishaw UCC2 is a universal CMM controller suitable for touch-trigger and scanning probing. The UCC2 offers full 4-axis control and scanning; perfect for cylinder, gasket and grid scanning. Also available is an automatic "find center", data filtering and advanced analogue probe calibration.
The UCC2 has a range of compatible additional card options. Most of these cards are common with UCC1, the exceptions being the PHS1 card, which is UCC2 compatible only, and the SP25M and MCU1 cards, which are included in the motherboard of the UCC2.
SPA2-2 has been optimized to work with the UCC2 CMM controller and MCU1 joystick, together forming an ideal retrofit package. For each amplifier channel, there are individual software controls for all the tuning parameters including offset, gain, integral and proportional settings.
AAT has developed a suite of tools that enables seamless integration of your CMM and a variety of scanning tools. We have built those tools into the Geometric CMM Software package, CAPPS, providing unparalleled Reverse Engineering and Inspection capabilities along with the use of this control package.
RenishawLITE Retrofit Package
The Renishaw UCClite2 is a universal CMM controller for applications needing only a touch-trigger probing capability. UCClite2 is a lower specification controller configurable for use with manual or DCC CMMs.
When used with the Renishaw SPAlite, a lower powered servo power amplifier unit suitable for smaller DCC CMMs, these units offer a competitive, cost-effective and compact CMM axis control solution, suitable for retrofitting to existing machines.
The SPAlite is a servo power amplifier designed for use with either the UCC2 or UCClite CMM controllers. It offers a low-cost, basic amplifier solution for small to medium CMMs. The SPAlite contains variable motor voltage, 3-axes of servo control, as well as tacho, encoder and tacholess capability with 250 W output of power.
The SPAlite can be combined with UCC2 and MCU1 joystick or with UCClite and a customer provided Direct X Joystick. And is not backwards compatible with the UCC1.

DEVA Retrofit Package
The Deva PCI CMM Controller is designed to meet the demanding requirements of the OEM and retro-t co-ordinate measuring machine market. This objective has been achieved on a single PCI interface card which integrates digital IO, a Renishaw touch probe interface and fully featured probe cycle library.
Incorporating high speed, closed loop axis control within the PC allows a highly cost effective CMM solution. On board signal conditioning circuitry ensures high precision, position measurement so that external probe conditioning equipment is no longer needed.
The Deva 030 is a complete servo solution in a single enclosure. It comprises 3 or 4 servo amplifiers, motor power supply, machine logic supply (24Vdc) and machine control logic with pendant connector.
With direct connections to the Deva 004 range of motion control cards the Deva 030 is simple to install and supports both brushed and brushless DC motors. Simple no-nonsense potentiometer based tuning further eases installation.
DEVA031 Touch Screen Joystick
The Deva 031 color touch screen joystick combines axes control, user status display and user function selection in one easy to operate device.
Feedback of the machine status is clearly depicted through the use of color graphics on the high resolution touch screen. The Windows PC control screen allows a user to navigate and press buttons on the PC screen. Simply touching the screen provides access to an unlimited set of functions allowing access to machine operation and CAPPS DMIS software controls.
